Cajun Spiced Chicken


If you’re looking for a quick easy dinner which is ready and on the table in 20 minutes look no further. This Cajun spiced chicken is quick, spicy and so delicious. Serve with sweet potato chips/crisps or a fresh green salad and you’re set.

Serves 2

2 chicken breasts filleted into three slices each


2 tablespoons paprika

1 tablespoon oregano

1 tablespoon thyme

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon green/red chilli (more or less according to how fiery you like your food)

2 teaspoons lemon juice

1 tablespoon chopped cilantro

salt to taste


place your chicken fillets into a bowl. Then simply toss all your marinade ingredients on top and stir well. Allow to marinate for 5 minutes or if you have time, longer under refrigeration. Then heat your pan up. Add in your oil / butter (I used butter) once your pan is piping hot place your chicken fillets on and cook on each side for 4 to 5 minutes until browned. Voila! Serve immediately. Any leftovers can be used for a salad or sandwich the next day x
