Just Do It!

Just Do It!

Im writing this post workout feeling energised and inspired and impassioned! Recently my workouts have been all over the place because my workout partner (read husband) has a back injury and he’s been forced to rest it out. Our usual routine is to workout in the evenings once our daughter is asleep but because hes not working out with me I find myself indulging in a sweat session any time I find myself with an hour to spare. I say indulging because for me exercise is an escape from whatever craziness is going on at the time. I sometimes workout in the mornings, or at lunch time or mid afternoon or even late in the evening.

Anyway the point of todays post is to hopefully motivate you, to JUST DO IT! Make time for it, leave the (lame) excuses behind and just do it! I totally understand how everyone is busy, has lots going on and sometimes it easier to say ‘I’ll do it tomorrow’ which then becomes next month. I know all the excuses: im tired, there was too  much traffic I feel drained, I have too much work to do, its too early, its too late, etc etc.. but seriously, just have that preworkout shake/snack, grab your trainers and get moving!! Even if you only end up doing 10 minutes on day one, DO IT!! Making the effort to start is half the battle won.

If you want to achieve your fitness goals you have to put the time in!  There is no great secret to becoming fit, or toned or losing that belly. You have to work hard, stick to it, make it a way of life and love it. If you’re not 100% committed to it you will NOT get results. So quit making excuses, and just get it done. Invest half an hour a day into YOU – go for a run, go the gym, do some yoga, grab in a home workout and JUST DO IT!

Totally agreed!! However; i also realize its soo easy to slip back into laziness after a break caused by whatever reason! I always said i prefer working out after work but due to changed work situations; i find myself working up early and telling myself to workout regardless of rain/mud etc!! Cheers for the inspiration xx

Thanks Meera for inspiring to start the workout, for the past 2weeks I’ve stuck to it with no excuses and gettin better at it. I find the perfect time is when my kids are eating dinner. They eat there food and get a comedy act too…lol coz it’s funny seeing mummy doing crazy moves and wobbling around… Lol
    Keep posting your inspiring blogs.
