Mango Nicecream


When its a hot summery day the craving for ice-cream is usually intense for all of us.

I’ve been allergic to dairy for many years and I don’t really miss milk in my diet too much. Believe me, after discovering nicecream (nana icecream) I’m a very happy bunny – and love that it satisfies that cold, sweet need perfectly. Also its very versatile and you can practically blend any fruit with bananas to give you the flavour you want! Try it and tag #thefitfabfoodie so I can see what you made!



  • three frozen bananas
  • 1 cup of diced mango cubes
  • ½ cup of coconut milk
  • 4 tablespoons of passionfruit pulp

The magic steps

To make this you can use an ice cream maker or do what I do and use a food processor and blend gradually, slowly adding in the coconut milk until you have the consistency of ice cream. It should look like smooth churned cream once its ready.

Either serve immediately (its melts super fast!) or pop into the freezer until about 5 minutes before you’re ready to eat it. Top with almond slivers and seeds.
