Nutty Blissballs

Nutty Blissballs

With the festive season around the corner (and my pregnancy sweet tooth out of control) I wanted to create something healthy and pretty which I (and you!) could indulge in without the guilt. Those are my favourite kinda treats anyway! ??

These nutty blissballs are super simple to make, with a minimum of washing up required (always a win ?) and they look so pretty too! Hope you enjoy them as much as we did!

1 cup of cashews
1 cup of almonds
1 cup of pitted dates (soaked for 5 mins in hot water)
1 cup of dry coconut
1 teaspoon maca powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 tablespoons melted coconut oil

Add all your ingredients (except your coconut oil) to a food processor and mix until you have a fine crumbly mixture. Now slowly add in your coconut oil until the mixture comes together into a dough like consistency.

Turn the mixture out into a bowl, and if adding different flavors separate into four bowls.

For the chocolate blissballs add 1 heaped tablespoon of cacao powder

For the matcha blissballs add 1 teaspoon of matcha powder

For the red blissballs add 2 tablespoons of water from a boiled beetroot (just the water)

I left one set of blissballs plain.

Now simply roll in to bite sized balls. Makes approximately 28 balls. Store in the refrigerator.
