Review of Ki.chen ?

Review of Ki.chen ?

My weekend started really well. I had just got back from an intense boxing session and as I walked into my house I was greeted with a delicious aroma of spices and spring onions and warm rice. You can imagine my delight when I opened up the brown paper bag and found a package of food – still piping hot.
This was my meal(s) delivery from Ki.chen – a relatively new company that “delivers delicious and afforadable lunch straight to your doorstep or office”. It was exactly that. I had ordered the Spicy Chicken wings with stir fry veggies and the Unwrapped Burrito Salad.
The spicy chicken wings were spicy but not overly so, with lots of flavours coming through, garlic, soy and spring onions. They were served with a huge portion of rice which was actually too much for me! So if you’re not a huge eater you could order to share as their portions are massive!

(All the rice served with this are not pictured)

What I really liked was that the food was fresh, hot, and not laden with colour. It tasted like it was cooked lovingly in some ones kitchen at home, and there’s nothing like a home cooked meal right?
I had the unwrapped burrito salad for dinner – as you can see from the photo it was also a massive portion, with beans, rice, a tangy salsa, fresh guacamole (which was green not grey – so definitely made just before delivery) and some sour cream (which I didn’t have because I don’t eat dairy) Again, this was filled with yummy flavours and I loved that there wasn’t a wrap, keeps it lighter especially if you’re eating at your desk – no mid afternoon slump there! But still a great portion size to keep you satiated all day.

If you haven’t ordered from ki.chen yet you must! Love the service, (delivery was very efficient) and the fact that you get to have a hot tasty meal at work/ or home if you’re pressed for time.
They have an extensive menu with salads, hot meals, dessert and drinks too. You can find their menu here: or contact them on
